Dillwood Brings the Farm to Your Table

Guthrie has helped Dillwood Farms develop their unique CSA program.  Delivering primarily to the Atlanta area, Dillwood Farms encourages people to establish a CSA community in their area (they suggest no fewer than 15-20 members to start).  A drop-off point is confirmed, and then each member can pick up his order on a pre-determined date.  Sounds familiar--but what sets Dillwood Farms apart is its ordering system: members can go onto the Dillwood Farms website, and there they'll find an order form itemizing everything that the farm has to offer at that time, and they can choose the quantity of each item.  Payment is simple as well: they use PayPal.

"If a person only wants one bunch of carrots, they only have to order one bunch of carrots.  You can get what you want, when you want it."  says Guthrie.

Dillwood's partnerships continue to expand, and current drop-off points include both Savi Urban Market locations in Inman Park and Brookhaven, as well as some neighborhood churches whose members have formed CSAs.  In addition to catering to individuals, you'll find Dillwood farms produce at such acclaimed high-end restaurants as Empire State South, Rathbun's Steak, One. Midtown Kitchen, and Rosebud--just to name a few.
